Carrie joined Social Life as part of their Field Team in July 2020. Most recently she has worked as a Mentor and Producer on the MA Filmmaking programme at Goldsmiths, University of London, and has previously coordinated interview-led projects with over 80 higher education institutions nationwide to better understand the experiences of students and applicants.
As an independent producer she is driven to raise awareness of social injustice through narrative films and documentaries in order to provide a platform for unheard voices. As part of her process, she undergoes research and interviews with individuals, charities and organisations in order to inform her practice and ensure accurate representation on-screen. Her most recent short film project examines the Windrush scandal and the impact of deportation on family relationships.
She holds an MA in Filmmaking and a BA in Media and Communications from Goldsmiths, University of London.
