IDEAS FOR LONDON SALON NO 2, 12TH SEPTEMBER 2012 @ 6.30 PM

Google Campus, 4-5 Bonhill Street, London EC2A 4BX

The Social Life team join the team presenting new ideas for making a difference to the lives of Londoners.

The second Ideas for London Salon will involve acclaimed writer and broadcaster Claudia Hammond discussing her recent book Time Warped to tell us how to enjoy London with more time in the bank.

Arlene van Bosch of architects Cathedral will also be presenting, on new developments making long-term change in Deptford, Greenwich and Hayes. Also joining us is Sonia Purnell, author ofJust Boris and long-term commentator on our London Mayor.

We'll hear ideas on keeping sport alive in London after the Olympics, how arts projects helped LOCOG improve community relations prior to the Games and on new project Social Life

Presentations will be in Pecha Kucha style (20 visuals, 20 seconds long). Ideas presented are required to be brave, forward looking and make a significant difference to the lives of Londoners.

This Salon is the second in a series of quarterly events. If you have a burning idea for London, you can submit it here.   If you'd like to attend Salon #2 book your place here or RSVP.
