We are recruiting a new junior researcher/project support

We are looking for an energetic, creative and efficient person with a strong commitment to the type of work we do. This will be someone with the potential and appetite to learn, who has a background in housing, architecture or urban design; and skills in writing, data analysis, mapping and visualisation.

This jobs are being offered on an initial six-month contract, for three to four days a wek.

We can offer flexible hours, although everyone in the team needs to spend some time each week in our Elephant & Castle office. 

We are looking for people with:

  • a good understanding of Social Life’s work and what motivates us
  • knowledge of planning, urbanism, housing or a related field in the UK
  • experience of writing accessibly and clearly for different audiences
  • experience of data analysis and visualisation (including mapping) 
  • good admin and IT skills including QGIS.
