Recruiting new researcher

Social Life is looking for an energetic, creative and efficient person with a strong commitment to our work to be our new researcher.

This job is being offered on an initial six-month contract, we hope to be able to extend this after this period.

The job will include working on a range of research and practical projects, and contributing to Social LIfe's overall work.

We are looking for someone with:

  • a good understanding of Social Life’s work and what motivates us
  • good knowledge of UK approaches to planning, urbanism, community development or a related field of Social Life’s work
  • a range of research experience, preferably including both qualitative and quantitative methods
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • confidence and experience of dealing with stakeholders at all levels
  • confidence and initiative to spot what needs to be done, to deal with ambiguity and to work creatively
  • Desirable: experience of data mapping and/or design skills.
