Researcher vacancy

We are recruiting a new researcher to join our team over the summer - we are looking for an energetic, creative and organised people with a strong commitment to our work. 

We would be particularly interested in applications from people with an urban design/architecture background who have experience of mapping and visualising data.

This jobs are being offered on an initial four-month contract, it may be possible to extend this after this period.

We are looking for people who have:

  • a good understanding of Social Life’s work and what motivates us
  • knowledge of planning, urbanism and urban design, architecture, housing, the community sector, or another related field of Social Life’s work
  • qualitative research experience
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • good skills in MS office, data mapping (including knowledge of QGIS) and design skills (including InDesign and other Adobe tools)
  • the ability to deal sensitively with challenging situations and stakeholders and the ability to work collaboratively in our small friendly team.

We are very interested in applications from people from people from black and ethnic minority communities as they are underrepresented in our team.
